Welcome Maple Lane parents!

Our PAC News page includes resources to upcoming fundraisers, special events, hot lunch dates, and meeting dates/minutes.

A strong Parent Advisory Council is a vital part of our school and provides you with the opportunity to connect with other parents while also contributing to the school community. The PAC meets once a month for approximately one hour to discuss school news and events. All parents (PAC executives or not) are invited to attend and vote at our monthly meetings.

The special events and fundraisers that the PAC organize throughout the year contribute to the Maple Lane Community and enhance our children’s educational experience.

Family Photo Fundraiser

We are once again teaming up with photographer, Melissa Skoda for a Family Photo Fundraiser!

Saturday, April 13th at Maple Lane (in the Little Maples Classroom).

The session costs $40 ($20 goes towards Maple Lane Fundraiser) and includes 1 high resolution digital file of your choice. Additional digital files can be purchased as follows:

1 digital file $10 + GST  |  3 digital files $25 + GST  |  All digital files $60 + GST

Maple Lane Spring Fling

Spring Fling Carnival - Save the Date


Planning for the Maple Lane Spring Fling Carnival on Thursday, May 16th is now in full swing! We look forward to this annual event returning and will be sending out ticket details in the coming weeks. 

For families new to Maple Lane, our annual Spring Fling is our largest event of the year - featuring carnival games, bubble soccer, face painting, airbrush tattoos, a food truck… and more!

Returning to our event will be our highly anticipated silent auction. Last year, we were amazed by the generosity of businesses as well as many families in our Maple Lane community, whose donations of gift certificates, gift baskets, electronics, art packages and more, helped us raise $4000 for our school.

Our fundraising focus for this year's Spring Fling is on expanding our school's athletics program which supports our students well-being through physical activity and fosters a healthy and vibrant school community.

We are hopeful to have some amazing items to bid on during our auction again this year. If you or your business would like to help us reach our goal by donating an item, please email maplelanepac@gmail.com.

Return-It Bottle Drive

Support Maple Lane year-round by dropping your containers off at any Return-It Express Depot. Skip the work of sorting and counting – put all your beverage containers in clear recyclable plastic bags and drop them off at any Return-It location. Simply print a label at the self-serve kiosk by entering Maple Lane's telephone number (604-668-6692) and your returns will be credited to our account.

Return-It Express Depots in Richmond include: Ironwood, Blundell, and Cedarbridge Way.

Libby's Kitchen

Libby’s Kitchen has been providing lunches for some students on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Please see the attached documents on how to register if you are interested in ordering lunch for your child(ren). Lunches will be delivered to the school and placed in the Division trays near the office.
