Maple Lane's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee started the Connections Club to provide opportunities for students to make connections with other students. The Connections Club meets once a week at lunch time under the supervision of school staff. A variety of activities are provided, including board games, art projects and building materials. Students are taught some of the language and social graces needed for making and keeping friendships, with the goal of increasing student sense of belonging at Maple Lane.
