Maple Lane's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee has been meeting to discuss how to increase student sense of belonging at the school. A goal of the school is for everyone to feel proud of their identity and valued as a member of our community. During the second term, we placed increased focus on our Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Bulletin board to make sure we are representing our diverse student body by highlighting celebrations and observances. We have also used our morning announcements to provide information about cultural events and to remind students about where they can find more information.
